Raymond Fung

Managing Partner

Ray co-founded JIDA Capital and joined CGN in 2012 . He is the General Manager of CGN Private Equity Fund Management Co. Ltd (CGNFM) and was previously Investment Director of CGN Fund III; Ex-Ping An's Head of Infrastructure; ex-Babcock & Brown's Head of Infrastructure – Asia, Global Infrastructure Executive Committee member, BBAIF Investment Committee member, Head of Infrastructure M&A – Australia, Non-executive director of Sydney Gas Ltd (SGLAU).

He has extensive experience in infrastructure investment including financial advisory mandates, principal investments in the infrastructure sector and operational management of infrastructure projects. Ray has led transactions in wind power generation, thermal electricity generation, energy transmission and distribution, coal bed methane gas field exploration and development, and transportation infrastructure in the PRC, ASEAN, Australia and Europe.

Before founding JIDA Capital, Ray was the Head of Infrastructure Investments at Ping An in Shenzhen and was responsible for Ping An's infrastructure investment activities, including serving on the Board of a number of Ping An's private investments. Prior to Ping An, he was Head of Infrastructure – Asia of Babcock & Brown, a member of Babcock & Brown's Global Infrastructure Executive Committee, Asian Infrastructure Fund's investment committee, and he was a director on the boards of public company Sydney Gas Limited in Australia and private companies in China, HKSAR, Thailand, Singapore and Australia.

Ray holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, is a CFA charter-holder and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Anthony Muh

Board Chairman & Non-executive Director

Shareholder of JIDA Capital since 2013. Anthony is a Partner of H.R.L. Morrison & Co and CEO of H.R.L. Morrison & Co Capital Management, a specialist investment manager and operator of infrastructure assets. An investment professional with more than 25 years experience in both traditional and alternative investment management industry. He is responsible for expanding Morrison & Co's investment capabilities outside of its traditional markets and also oversees the development of managed mandates and products for the group.

Anthony previously headed up the Asia Pacific proprietary investment activities of UK’s investment company Alliance Trust PLC. Over that time he also established for Alliance Trust PLC its new asset management business. He also spent over a decade with Citigroup Global Asset Management, where he was a member of its Global Asset Management Committee and a member of Citigroup’s Hong Kong country board. Anthony was Regional Chief Investment Officer and Asia Pacific Head of Investment for Salomon Brothers Asset Management and Citigroup Asset Management. He is a past Chairman and Fellow of Hong Kong Securities and Investments Institute and a past Chairman and Fellow of New Zealand Society of Investment Analyst (now known as INFINZ).

Anthony is currently Vice Chairman and a Council member of Asian Corporate Governance Association and an Advisory Board member of Euro money Institutional Investor Plc. He is an alternate Director on the Board of listed company Infratil and a Non Executive Director on the Board of London listed company Utilico Emerging Markets Limited.

Phyllis Lam


Phyllis co-founded JIDA Capital in 2012. She practices law in Hong Kong and Australia. She was previously a Senior Associate at Ashurst's (Blakes) in Sydney.

Colin Leung

Investment Director

Colin joined JIDA Capital in 2014 as an Investment Director, responsible for overseas fund raising and the origination and execution of transactions that invest into China infrastructure assets. He has 18 years of investment and research experience, out of which over 8 years of Asian energy and infrastructure private equity experience that involved capital raising of 3 funds, completion of 1 deal, origination, evaluation and execution of 15+ investments predominantly in China.

Prior to JIDA, Colin was a Vice President of Equis Funds Group, an independent funds management group focusing on Asian energy and infrastructure. As a founding member of Equis, Colin was responsible for different aspects of private equity investments from the formulation of fund and investment strategy, capital raising, and the preparation of marketing materials to investment identification, evaluation, origination, development and execution.

Previous to Equis, Colin had similar roles at CLSA Capital Partners, Babcock & Brown and Beacon Asset Management. Specifically focusing on the formulation and implementation of the development strategy of renewable energy related investments in China, and the origination and evaluation of renewable investment opportunities.

Colin holds a Bachelor of Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Management Consulting and Change, a MBA and is a CFA charter-holder and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Timothy Koo

Investment Director

Timothy joined H.R.L Morrison & Co in 2014 as an Investment Director. Timothy is seconded to JIDA Capital in 2015 as an Investment Director as part of its strategic partnership arrangement and will take an active leading role in origination and execution of China infrastructure investment opportunities.

Timothy has extensive private equity and investment banking experience in infrastructure and renewable energy across multi-jurisdictions. Prior to joining JIDA Capital, Timothy was a Vice President at Olympus Capital's Asia Environmental Partners, a private equity firm dedicated to environmentally-sustainable investments in Asia. At Olympus Capital, Timothy was responsible for deal execution and post-investment asset management where he successfully deployed capital and optimized various renewable energy (hydropower, wind power, solar power, and waste-to-energy), water treatment, and natural gas assets.

Prior to Olympus Capital, Timothy was working with Macquarie Capital Advisors' infrastructure investment banking team where he advised on a number of renewable energy and transportation related transactions.

Timothy holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)/Commerce from the University of Melbourne and was also a Lieutenant and an Officer Commanding from the Singapore Armed Forces.

Benny Xu

Associate Director

Benny joined JIDA Capital in 2012. Benny was previously an Investment Manager Assistant in Ping An, and had participated in several wind power projects' M&A and also edited several investment strategy reports for CGN. Benny has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Economics, FRM from Renmin University of China.

Amamda Pu

Investment Manager

Amanda joined JIDA Capital in 2013. She was previously a Wireless Products Marketing Manager at Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, and Software Engineer of Beijing Founder Electronics Co. Ltd. She graduated from Nankai University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and received a MBA from the Peking University / Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.

Li Xin Tai


Li Xin Tai joined CGN in 2014 and prevously participated in the establishment and approval process of CGN Fund III and the edition of solar power industry report. Li Xin Tai hold a Bachelor of Finance from Southwestern University.

Anne Zhang

Investment Director

Anne joined JIDA Capital in 2015 as an Investment Director primarily responsible for the origination and execution of transactions for CGN Fund III in China. Anne previously worked for Ping An’s infrastructure business for over 7 years and has good experience in evaluating, executing and integrating infrastructure investments. She was involved in the >RMB2.7 bn sale of Ningbo Beilun Expressway, the management and sale of circa 600MW of wind farms, >RMB15 bn bond investment in infrastructure, preparation of the investment strategy for various infrastructure assets.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Management from Haerbin Engineering University and a Master Degree of Management from Haerbin Engineering University. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.

Jaden Yuan

Investment Manager

Jayden joined JIDA Capital in 2015 as an Investment Manager primarily responsible for providing technical, construction and O&M advice for CGN Fund III. Jaden previously worked for Sgurr as an consultant responsible for the assessment of wind turbines, monitoring and quality assurance for the construction of wind farms and evaluation of O&M strategy for wind farms.
