Michael Di Cicco
Michael Di Cicco is a Partner at global leadership company, Heidrick & Struggles, where he is head of the firm’s Asia Pacific Private Equity and Real Asset practices. He helps private market funds assess, recruit and accelerate the performance of their teams and the teams of the companies into which they invest. Michael has helped establish and grow investment funds spanning real estate, infrastructure, private equity and venture capital. He also regularly works with funds across their investment lifecycle to assess, benchmark and drive talent strategies for potential and existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2013, Michael led alternative investment practices with executive search boutiques in Asia, where he was consistently ranked one of the region’s top private equity search consultants. A career entrepreneur, Michael co-founded three technology companies that became market leaders in Asia across internet telephony, connectivity for business travellers and online education. Michael is a journalist by training and started his career covering Asia for United Press International, Bloomberg and BusinessWeek. He graduated with honors from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He has lived and worked across Asia for more than 25 years.
Mark was most recently the President of European Region and Chief Executive Officer of European Region at General Electric (“GE”), and prior to that Integration Leader of Alstom, Chief Executive Officer and President of China at GE, Chief Executive Officer and President of International at GE Real Estate and other senior positions over a distinguished career at the global institution beginning in 1994. His many accomplishments included building a pan-European capital markets team and spearheading the financing of key energy-related construction projects in China and Indonesia.
Nancy was previously Head of Investment Analysis at CP2 and has core expertise in transport infrastructure. She has served on the board of ConnectEast, a toll road operator in Melbourne, and was employed in various operational roles with Sydney Airport for over seven years. Nancy was directly involved in the trade sale of Sydney Airport in 2002 and the A$500 million Sydney Airport redevelopment program. She was also previously the Director and Head of Retail Services for CB Richard Ellis in Shanghai, responsible for Greater China.
Miles was most recently the managing director of Australia’s largest wind farm owner, ASX-listed Infigen Energy and has been with the company for 16 years, with eight of them at its helm. He was also chair of the Clean Energy Council and is regarded as one of the strongest advocates for the Australian renewable energy industry.
Charles was most recently Co-Founder and Managing Partner of HAO Capital, a China-based private equity firm with AUM of over US$600million, and prior to that a Senior Advisor to GE Capital, IBM and CITIC and a Managing Director for China of Lazard Asia. He has also served with the United Nations system of organizations earlier in his career.
